Saturday Kitchen 5/11/11
Another great collection of recipes this week matched to some superb wines. Guest chefs this week were Theo Randall and Bryn Williams. Wine choices by expert Susie Barrie and Mel C faced heaven and hell.
First recipe this time was by Theo who cooked: Penne with Sausage, Pancetta and Swiss Chard. To go with this Susie went for:

Cooking live next Bryn prepared a very British - Braised Beef Cheeks and Parsley Salad. Susie chose Sainsbury's Taste the Difference

As usual I won't spoil Heaven and Hell by telling you which won in case you are catching the show later but the options were:
Heaven – Scallops with Pickled Vegetables, Mango Jelly and Live and Chive sauce. Susie matched this one with:

Hell – Duck Breast with Potato and Apple Rosti, Apple Puree and Roasted figs. (sometimes I suspect that the guests choose to heaven dishes secretly !)
