How To Use WinedayUk
Getting the Best Out Of WinedayUK
If you're visiting us for the first time – thanks for coming ! Here are a few pointers to help you look around.
We try our best to make the site as user friendly as we possibly can but do appreciate that there is a lot to work your way through due to the amount of products on offer from our fantastic retailers.
We have organised everything into what we hope are logical categories along the top of the pages and also on the side blocks. On the side blocks we also have a hover over feature, which makes a host of sub categories appear to help narrow down your search if you are looking for something in particular – say a 2009 non-vintage Champagne for example.
To give you as many options as possible when searching we have also added features (on the left hand side) that let you compare wine prices by price range, specific retailer or delivery time. Up on the top right you'll also find a search box so that you can just type in a product you are looking for.
Due to the number of products available we sometimes can't list all of a retailers products but if you are looking for a particular wine or accessory that you know a retailer sells – just click on the retailer and you'll be taken to their site where everything they stock is available.
As you navigate around the site you will see some highlighted text on the content – these are links to several additional retailers selling relevant products we think you might like. Mousing over these links will bring up a little description box, which is a link to those guys.
Very often our retailers provide us with special offers, wine selections and discount codes. You'll find these on our blog pages and if you join us on facebook or follow us on twitter you'll be notified of those as soon as they come in. We also produce a weekly blog on the wines matched to dishes cooked on BBC Saturday kitchen with links to the recipes and the wines (which are usually available at WinedayUK)
We also have a number of pages of useful information, links to wine sites and blogs that we follow and some useful guides on tasting wine, matching food to wine and some other great stuff.
We really hope you enjoy using WinedayUK to buy wine online and we really appreciate your comments – feel free to send us your thoughts and suggestion or join our mailing list here.
